ABIL’s embedded risk management philosophy has positioned the group to be resilient through the economic<br />
cycles, while its strong enterprise risk management culture has contributed signifi cantly to the success of this<br />
business as a whole.<br />
Risk universe and supporting structures<br />
All risks facing the greater ABIL group are reviewed on an <strong>annual</strong> basis and the major groups of risks (before<br />
and after the application of mitigating controls) are set out and described in the group’s web-based risk<br />
<strong>report</strong>. Management of the two business units and the ABIL board are satisfi ed that these risks are being<br />
adequately managed to ensure the desired outcome is achieved. The diagram below depicts the risk universe<br />
