Raphiel—God is the author of every thing that existeth,<br />
the eternal, the supreme, the living and awful<br />

Raphiel—Brother Truth, whom do you conduct?<br />

to go out of darkness and to see the true light, and<br />
to know the true light in all its purity, and to ask<br />
tidings of the times that are promised to man.<br />
Raphiel—He cannot pass here! behold! he has the<br />
bandage of ignorance and prejudice upon his brow.<br />
Brother Truth~Enlightened Raphiel, he is ready to<br />
cast it off with your assistance.<br />
Raphiel—(B.emoVeS the bandage and exhibits the<br />

Gabriel—Light and darkness are the world’s eternal<br />
ways. God is the principal of everything that exists,<br />

powers. At one glance he is the past, the present and<br />

Gabriel—Brother Truth, whom do you conduct?<br />

up a caduceus.)<br />
Gabriel—In lieu of that sword, in lieu of offensive<br />
~ war bring with you among men<br />
the caduceus of peace, and exert<br />
yourselves to avert anger<br />
and bloodshed; blessed are the<br />
peace-makers, for they are the<br />
children of God. (Brother<br />
Truth, again conducts him<br />
Csduce. once around the room.)<br />
Auriel—In the beginning man had the word, and that<br />
word was from God, and out of the living power which<br />
in and by that word was communicated to man came the<br />
light of his existence. Let no man speak the word, for<br />
by it the Father made light and darkness; the world and<br />
living creatures. (Halts in front of Auriel.)<br />
