Proofs afforded by this degree that Freemasonry u

Proof First. Its oath (which makes the Mason) is
sworn on the “Holy Book of the Law,~ which, Mackey
says, “Masonically,” means the Sacred Book of any and
every religion on earth. (See Note 273.) This .jneludes
not only the Books of Curious Arts (Acts 19, 19)
and the “Book of Mormon,” which sanctions polygamy
