Royal Secret, who is sincerely devoted to God, his<br />
country and our holy order; grieving for the sufferings<br />
of humanity, he humbly solicits admission into this<br />
Supreme Couneil, where he hopes with the aswistanee of<br />
divine wisdom, to accomplish his duty to God and his<br />
brethren.<br />

of Exalted <strong>Masonry</strong>. (Music plays, and the eandidate<br />
is led into the Supreme Council by the Grand Master<br />
General of Ceremonies and the Grand Marshal General<br />
who holds the cable tow in his left hand. <strong>The</strong> candidate<br />
holding taper in right hand with head bowed is under<br />
the sign of the Good Shepherd and placed in the ~Vest.<br />
Most Puissant Soy. Grand Com.—My brother your<br />
devotion to God, your eountry and our holy order, your<br />
grief for the sufferings of humanity, are your titles of<br />
admittanee to this Council. Illustrious Grand Master<br />
General of Ceremonies, conduct the brother by five,<br />
three, one and two journeys, that he may travel and reflect<br />
upon his duties to God and his brethren. (<strong>The</strong><br />
Grand Master General of Ceremonies conducts him in<br />
silenee five times around the Chamber and stops in the<br />
West.)<br />

this your first journey in this degree is to remind iou<br />
of your first step in the <strong>Masonic</strong> eareer. <strong>The</strong>n you were<br />
weak, helpless and in darkness. Ever remember that,<br />
when called upon to conduet those whom you have left<br />
behind; that you were onee like them, weak and helpless.<br />
