We got into the nitty-gritty of adding configuration options to your engine, as well<br />

as a module called Forem::UserExtensions, which configured the two models in your<br />

engine with new associations. This module is exceptionally interesting, as it allows you<br />

to configure the engine’s behavior regardless of the class that it’s included into.<br />

We then covered releasing your engine as a gem, which is the best way to get it out<br />

into the world.<br />

In the final chapter, we look at how you can write lightweight applications using<br />
