While the nutrient load entering the<br />

lakes has remained constant, summer<br />

temperatures have increased, leading to<br />

more intensive algal blooms in more <strong>and</strong><br />

more areas of the lakes. This problem is<br />

exacerbated by reduced water temperatures<br />

in these areas in winter that prevent full<br />

mineralization <strong>and</strong> decomposition of the<br />

vegetation biomass. As a result of these<br />

processes, additional benthic deposition<br />

appears, which leads to further oxygen<br />

depletion during summer periods. (This<br />

phenomenon was first reported in 1989 by<br />

the Ohrid Hydrobiological Institute).<br />

All of these changes inevitably impact upon<br />

the spawning ecology of the fish in the<br />

Prespa lakes.<br />

In reviewing these impacts, it is important<br />

to bear in mind the additional effects on<br />

spawning arising from the introduction of<br />

alien species of fish to the lake. Some of<br />

these introduced species are in competition<br />

with Prespa’s indigenous fish, pushing<br />

these native species out of their original<br />

habitats.<br />

по<strong>и</strong>нтенз<strong>и</strong>вен воден цвет <strong>на</strong> сé повеќе<br />

места во езерата. Овој проблем се<br />

зголемува со <strong>на</strong>малувањето <strong>на</strong> температур<strong>и</strong>те<br />

<strong>на</strong> водата за време <strong>на</strong> з<strong>и</strong>ма,<br />

порад<strong>и</strong> спречувањето <strong>на</strong> целос<strong>на</strong>та<br />

м<strong>и</strong>нерал<strong>и</strong>зац<strong>и</strong>ја <strong>и</strong> разградување <strong>на</strong><br />

раст<strong>и</strong>тел<strong>на</strong>та б<strong>и</strong>омаса. Како резултат <strong>на</strong><br />

ов<strong>и</strong>е процес<strong>и</strong> доаѓа до дополн<strong>и</strong>телно<br />

таложење <strong>на</strong> бентосот, што вод<strong>и</strong> до<br />

по<strong>на</strong>тамошно трошење <strong>на</strong> к<strong>и</strong>слородот<br />

за време <strong>на</strong> летн<strong>и</strong>те пер<strong>и</strong>од<strong>и</strong> (овој<br />

феномен за прв пат е оп<strong>и</strong>шан во 1989<br />

год<strong>и</strong><strong>на</strong> од стра<strong>на</strong> <strong>на</strong> Х<strong>и</strong>дроб<strong>и</strong>олошк<strong>и</strong>от<br />

<strong>и</strong>нст<strong>и</strong>тут од Охр<strong>и</strong>д).<br />

С<strong>и</strong>те ов<strong>и</strong>е промен<strong>и</strong> не<strong>и</strong>збежно вл<strong>и</strong>јаат<br />

врз еколог<strong>и</strong>јата <strong>на</strong> мрестење <strong>на</strong> р<strong>и</strong>б<strong>и</strong>те<br />

во Преспанск<strong>и</strong>те Езера.<br />

Кога се а<strong>на</strong>л<strong>и</strong>з<strong>и</strong>раат ов<strong>и</strong>е вл<strong>и</strong>јан<strong>и</strong>ја,<br />

важно е да се земат предв<strong>и</strong>д дополн<strong>и</strong>телн<strong>и</strong>те<br />

ефект<strong>и</strong> врз мрестењето ко<strong>и</strong><br />

про<strong>и</strong>злегуваат од воведувањето <strong>на</strong><br />

неавтохтон<strong>и</strong>те в<strong>и</strong>дов<strong>и</strong> <strong>на</strong> р<strong>и</strong>б<strong>и</strong> од стра<strong>на</strong><br />

<strong>на</strong> човекот. Неко<strong>и</strong> од ов<strong>и</strong>е в<strong>и</strong>дов<strong>и</strong> се<br />

во конкурентск<strong>и</strong> однос со пр<strong>и</strong>родн<strong>и</strong>те,<br />

<strong>и</strong>ст<strong>и</strong>снувајќ<strong>и</strong> г<strong>и</strong> од н<strong>и</strong>вн<strong>и</strong>те прв<strong>и</strong>чн<strong>и</strong><br />

ж<strong>и</strong>веал<strong>и</strong>шта.<br />

Përderisa lënda ushqyese e cila hyn në<br />

liqenet ka mbetur e p<strong>and</strong>ryshuar, temperaturat<br />

gjatë verës janë rritur, që sjell<br />

lulëzimi intensiv të algave në më shumë<br />

hapësira të liqeneve. Ky problem është<br />

përkeqësuar për arsye të uljes së temperaturave<br />

gjatë dimrit të cilat e par<strong>and</strong>alojnë<br />

mineralizimin dhe dekompozimin<br />

e biomasës së vegjetacionit. Si rezultat<br />

i këtyre proceseve, paraqitet depozitë<br />

plotësues i zonave ekologjike në pjesën<br />

më të ulët të liqeneve, të cilët prodhojnë<br />

më shumë oksigjen gjatë periudhës së<br />

verës. (Ky fenomen për herë të pare është<br />

raportuar në vitin 1989 nga Instituti Hidrobiologjik<br />

i Ohrit).<br />

Të gjitha këto ndryshime në mënyrë të<br />

pashmangshme ndikojnë mbi lëshimin e<br />

vezëve të peshqve në liqenet e Prespës.<br />

Gjatë shqyrtimit të këtyre ndikimeve,<br />

duhet të merren parasysh efektet<br />

plotësuese mbi lëshimin e vezëve që rrjedhin<br />

nga futja e llojeve të jashtme (aliene)<br />

të peshqve në liqen. Disa nga këto lloje<br />

të reja janë në garë me peshqit indigjene<br />

të Prespës, duke i shtyrë këto specie vendore<br />

jashtë habitatit të tyre origjinal.<br />

Καθώς τα θρεπτικά συστατικά συνεχίζουν<br />

να εισέρχονται στις λίμνες και οι<br />

καλοκαιρινές θερμοκρασίες αυξάνουν, η<br />

άνθιση των φυκών έγινε πιο εκτενής σε<br />

όλο και περισσότερες περιοχές των λιμνών.<br />

Αυτό το πρόβλημα γίνεται σημαντικότερο<br />

λόγω των μειωμένων θερμοκρασιών<br />

το χειμώνα που εμποδίζουν την πλήρη<br />

διάλυση και αποσύνθεση της βιομάζας<br />

της βλάστησης. Σαν αποτέλεσμα αυτής<br />

της διαδικασίας εμφανίζεται επιπλέον<br />

βυθισμένη απόθεση βιομάζας βλάστησης<br />

που οδηγεί σε περαιτέρω απεμπλουτισμό<br />

του οξυγόνου κατά τις καλοκαιρινές<br />

περιόδους. (Αυτό το φαινόμενο<br />

αναφέρθηκε πρώτη φορά το 1989 από το<br />

Υδροβιολογικό Ινστιτούτο της Οχρίδας στην<br />

Αναφορά).<br />

Όλες αυτές οι αλλαγές αναπόφευκτα<br />

επιδρούν στην αναπαραγωγική οικολογία<br />

των ψαριών στις Πρέσπες.<br />

Πραγματοποιώντας μια ανασκόπηση<br />

αυτών των επιδράσεων είναι σημαντικό να<br />

έχουμε κατά νου τις επιπλέον επιδράσεις<br />

στην αναπαραγωγή των ψαριών της<br />

λίμνης από την εισαγωγή και ξένων ειδών<br />

ψαριών. Μερικά από τα εισαχθέντα<br />

ψάρια βρίσκονται σε ανταγωνισμό με<br />

τα αυτόχθονα ψάρια των Πρεσπών και<br />

εξωθούν τα αυτόχθονα ψάρια εκτός του<br />

φυσικού τους περιβάλλοντος.<br />
