BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE:
The annual review of the Statement on Rights and Responsibilities and Student Code of Conduct has
been completed by a committee composed of the following members:

The committee has discussed the changes and reached consensus. The changes represent positive
input from representatives at each school level in the district, parents, IAKSS staff, and students, as well
as legislative changes and changes the Board has made to its policies.
