RE: Position Control Document<br />

The Support Services Position Control Document provides information to the <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>Education</strong> regarding staffing patterns at non-school sites. This report is updated<br />

monthly to reflect changes that have occurred as a result <strong>of</strong> <strong>Board</strong> actions.<br />

If you have specific questions regarding this report, please contact Julane Mullins at<br />

381-4109.<br />

Position Control Number Description- The position control number is an eight-digit number that<br />

provides for the identification <strong>of</strong> the work site, employee classification, and department.<br />

The first digit <strong>of</strong> the number indicates the work site-<br />

1=701 E. Main, 2=Springhill Dr., 3=Liberty Rd., 4=School Site, 5=District Wide Itinerant,<br />

6=Other<br />

The second digit <strong>of</strong> the number indicates the position classification-<br />

1=Certified, 2=Certified Administrative, 3=Classified Administrative, 4=Classified Hourly,<br />

5=Classified Salaried, 6=Temporary<br />

The third through fifth digits indicate the department code as determined by MUNIS.<br />

The sixth through eighth digits are an index number that allows for a unique identifier for each<br />

individual within a department.<br />
