18. Approval of Third-Party Special Inspection Agreement for the Renovation of Clays Mill Elementary
School BG 10-010
A motion was made by Melissa Bacon and seconded by Amanda Ferguson to authorize the Superintendent to
execute a contract with L.E. Gregg Associates in the amount of $45,396.00 (Forty-five Thousand, Three Hundred
Ninety-six Dollars) to perform the third-party special inspections outlined above. The motion carried with a vote
of 5 to 0.
19. Approval of Recommendation from the Local Planning Committee
A motion was made by Doug Barnett and seconded by Daryl Love to approve changes to the District
Facilities in relation to the enrollment at Millcreek Elementary School, subject to the approval of the Kentucky
Department of Education, District Facilities Branch, per the provisions of 702 KAR 4:180. The motion carried
with a vote of 5 to 0.
20. Approval of Bid, Interim and Proposed Contracts, and a Revision to the BG-1 Project Application
for the Renovation of Mary Todd Elementary School BG 10-260
A motion was made by Melissa Bacon and seconded by Doug Barnett to accept the base bid with Alternates 1,
3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, as submitted by Alliance corporation, approve the interim contract in the amount of
$2,500,000 (Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Dollars) and the proposed contract in the amount of $8,678,503
(Eight Million, Six Hundred Seventy-eight Thousand, Five Hundred Three Dollars), and approve a revision to the
BG-1 Project Application for a total of $10,978,318 (Ten Million, Nine Hundred and Seventy-eight Thousand, Three
Hundred Eighteen Dollars), for the renovation of Mary Todd Elementary School, subject to the approval of the
Kentucky Department of Education, District Facilities Branch, per the provisions of 702 KAR 4:160. The motion
carried with a vote of 5 to 0.

1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9, as submitted by Isaac Tatum Construction, approve the interim contract in the amount of
$2,500,000 (Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Dollars) and the proposed contract in the amount of $12,118,900
(Twelve Million, One Hundred Eighteen Thousand, Nine Hundred Dollars), and approve a revision to the BG-1
Project Application for a total of $14,739,927 (Fourteen Million, Seven Hundred Thirty-nine Thousand, Nine
Hundred Twenty-seven Dollars), for the renovation of Breckinridge Elementary School, subject to the approval of the
Kentucky Department of Education, District Facilities Branch, per the provisions of 702 KAR 4:160. The motion
carried with a vote of 5 to 0.
