BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE:
The Risk Management Division is responsible for renovations to Fayette County schools and
administrative buildings while following health and safety management practices. Maintenance and
repair activities require asbestos/lead abatement by companies experienced in and knowledgeable of
removing hazardous materials by adhering to environmental regulations and guidelines. This bid
allows for large-scale renovations above $250,000.00.
