follows: "We want either Perdicaris alive or Raisuli dead."<br />

Prolonged cheering followed the reading <strong>of</strong> the bulletin.<br />

COMMITTEE TO FILL VACANCIES<br />

Reading Clerk MoUoy read the names <strong>of</strong> the members<br />

selected <strong>by</strong> the delegations as members <strong>of</strong> the national Repub-<br />

lican committee and honorary vice-presidents. Senator Gal-<br />

linger <strong>of</strong> New Hampshire <strong>of</strong>fered the following resolution,<br />

which was unanimously adopted:<br />

Resolved, That the national Republican committee be and it is here<strong>by</strong> empow<br />

ered to fill all vacancies in its membership.<br />

On motion <strong>of</strong> Senator Kean <strong>of</strong> New Jersey the convention<br />

adjourned until 10 a. m., Thursday.
