DISCUSSION<br />

Observed patterns in caddisfly distribution in the Iberian Mediterranean area are spatial and<br />

temporal heterogeneous. Consequently, our results agree with the idea that distribution areas<br />

are dynamic structures (Antúnez & Mendoza, 1992), and they should be studied in a spatial-<br />
