Integrating Macaulay Functions<br />

The integration <strong>of</strong> Macaulay functions is very<br />

similar to normal functions with an exception. If<br />

the exponent is positive then the normal rules <strong>of</strong><br />

integration apply. If the exponent is negative, then<br />

we just add one to the exponent. The rules are<br />

shown at the left.<br />
