Utility Mode<br />

In the Utility mode, you can set parameters that apply to the entire system of this instrument. To enter the Utility mode,<br />

press the [UTILITY] button. Pressing the [EXIT] button returns to the original display.<br />

Operation<br />

1 General<br />

Volume<br />

Determines the overall volume of the instrument.<br />

Settings: 0 – 127<br />

Note Shift<br />

Determines the amount (in semitones) by which the pitch of all notes is shifted.<br />

Settings: -24 semi – +0 semi – +24 semi<br />

Tune<br />

Determines the tuning of the <strong>S90</strong> <strong>XS</strong>/<strong>S70</strong> <strong>XS</strong>’s overall sound. You can adjust the tuning in cent increments.<br />

Settings: -102.4 cents [414.7Hz] – +0 cents [440.0Hz] – +102.3 cents [466.8Hz]<br />

L&R Gain<br />

Determines the output gain of the OUTPUT L/MONO and R jacks.<br />

Settings: 0dB, +6dB<br />

Asgn L&R Gain (Assign L&R Gain)<br />

Determines the output gain of the ASSIGNABLE OUT L and R jacks.<br />

Settings: 0dB, +6dB<br />

Kbd Octave (Keyboard Octave)<br />

Determines the amount in octaves by which the range of the keyboard is shifted up or down. This setting can be<br />

changed also by pressing any of the OCTAVE buttons.<br />

Settings: -3 – +0 – +3<br />

Kbd Transpose (Keyboard Transpose)<br />

Determines the amount in semitones by which the range of the keyboard is shifted up or down. This setting can be<br />

changed also by pressing any of the TRANSPOSE buttons.<br />

Settings: -11 semi – +0 semi – +11 semi<br />

[UTILITY] Select the desired display in the Utility Select display [ENTER] <br />
