It is important <strong>to</strong> note that the Overall Management Objectives and Implementing Practices<br />

presented in the Manual may not be sufficient <strong>to</strong> absolutely <strong>protect</strong> <strong>ground</strong> or surface <strong>water</strong> quality<br />

depending on the situation. Measures beyond the implementation of the Practices presented in the<br />

Manual may sometimes be necessary <strong>to</strong> <strong>protect</strong> <strong>water</strong> quality.<br />

Listings of best <strong>management</strong> <strong>practices</strong> for other sources of nonpoint source pollution are<br />

identified in Table 2-3, from Ecology’s 1989 Management Program document.
