Using forms to provide more information Using forms to provide more information Information on forms A form is a formatted display of information in a window. Each form in FrameWork is designed to show information about a particular type of object (for example, use cases or classes). The rectangular areas in which FrameWork displays information on a form are called fields. Using the Java Attribute Information form Lesson 6: Adding More Detail to Your Java Classes 98 Forms give you a view of objects that’s different from the views in your modeling windows. When you’re interested in one particular object, viewing it on a form is an easy way to find out what you want to know. You can use forms to both view and modify information. You’ll use one now to change the data type of the salary attribute you created earlier in this lesson. To change the data type of the salary attribute: 1 In the popup menu for the salary attribute, select View in Form and then Java Attribute Information.
Using forms to provide more information FrameWork opens the Java Attribute Information form. Notice that the Source Class field shows the class for which the attribute is defined.
