The Project Organizer should now look like this: You’re now ready to open your first modeling window. Opening your first modeling window Use case modeling window and tools Now you’ll open a modeling window to build a use case diagram. You’ll use the modeling tools in the Use Case Diagram Tools tool folder. What you do To open a modeling window for your use case diagram: 1 On the File menu, select Close to close the Welcome Window (if it’s open). 2 Make sure your Learning FrameWork folder is highlighted in the folder view.
3 On the File menu, select New. Organizing your work FrameWork displays the New dialog box. The list on the left shows the types of diagrams you can build. Tip You can get detailed information about any FrameWork dialog box by pressing the Help button in it. 4 In the New dialog box: a In the list of diagram types, select UML Use Case. b In the Name field, type a name for the use case diagram.
