Opening a KnowledgeBase The KnowledgeBase After you start FrameWork, you need to open the KnowledgeBase you want to use. A KnowledgeBase is a repository in which FrameWork stores objects, their interrelationships, and the rules and constraints that govern their creation and manipulation. You’ll open a KnowledgeBase that contains some sample models. This KnowledgeBase is stored in a file named DemoExample.pkb.
