Formatting text Formatting text Font changes FrameWork lets you format text by changing various aspects of the font it uses. You can format both freestanding text and text associated with graphic objects in your diagrams. In this exercise, you’ll format all the text in the Employee Hiring System diagram. What you do To format text in the Employee Hiring System diagram: 1 Open the Employee Hiring System diagram if it’s not open already. 2 On the Edit menu, select Select All. Lesson 4: Improving the Appearance of Your Diagrams 62 FrameWork places selection handles on each graphic in the diagram. 3 On the Format menu, select Text. FrameWork displays the Font dialog box.
Formatting text 4 In the Font dialog box, change one or more of the font, style, size, effects, and color options. The Sample field lets you preview the changes you make. 5 Press the OK button to close the Font dialog box and apply the changes to the text in your diagram. If, for example, you selected Bold Italic as the font style, your diagram would now look something like this: Setting text defaults You can change the default settings for the text in all the diagrams you’ll create.
