Saving your work Saving your work Lesson 2: Creating Your First Use Case Diagram 44 You have now completed your Employee Hiring System use case diagram. It should look something like this: Tip To close the Use Case Diagram Tools tool folder, click again on the Show Tool Folders button in the standard toolbar. The KnowledgeBase file Now that you’ve completed your first diagram, you should save your work. When you save, <strong>FrameWork</strong> writes your KnowledgeBase to a file with the extension .pkb. The filename is the name you gave the KnowledgeBase when you created it in “Opening a new KnowledgeBase for your work” earlier in this lesson.
What you do To save your work: On the File menu, select Save KnowledgeBase. Tip Using naming conventions It’s good modeling discipline to save your work frequently. Using naming conventions Use case names Observing a few naming conventions will help keep your models consistent. Use cases are generally named with a verb phrase and a plural noun. For example, Hire Employees is a verb phrase. Use initial capital letters on the words. Actor names Actors are named with a singular noun phrase.
