THE DEFENDANT SHOULD HAVE A PERSON WITH THEM THROUGHOUT<br />

SHOULD BE FREQUENT BREAKS DURING WHICH THE DEFENDANT<br />

SHOULD BE ABLE TO GO THROUGH WHAT IS HAPPENING, THE ISSUES<br />

AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN. THE PERSON'S SUPPORTER SHOULD BE ABLE<br />

TO INFORM THE COURT OF ANY CONCERNS ABOUT THE DEFENDANT'S<br />

CONTINUING ABILITY TO EFFECTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN HIS TRIAL.<br />
