ADDITIONAL COMMENTS<br />

Comment on paragraph 5.16 :<br />

The Defence Solici<strong>to</strong>r, the Defence advocate, the Registered Medical Practitioners, the<br />

CPS, Prosecuting Counsel and the Judge will each have different views about the<br />

nature of the issues in any given case.<br />

Further, the Defence lawyers may have access <strong>to</strong> detailed evidence affecting the<br />

issues which they may not want <strong>to</strong> reveal <strong>to</strong> the Prosecution through the Medical<br />

Practitioners in advance of any trial.
