Successfully completed a basic computer skills (or computing) course refers <strong>to</strong><br />
learners who have acquired the expected basic computer skills, as nationally<br />
defined for each level of education. This can be accomplished either through<br />
passing an examination or a series of examinations; accumulating a specified<br />
number of hours of study credits required for the course; or receiving a formal<br />

<strong>and</strong>/or at a distance. This definition excludes educational personnel who<br />

occasionally or in a voluntary capacity in educational institutions (e.g. parents).<br />
