Appendix: The following version <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Negative Confession is given in <strong>the</strong> Nebseni Papyrus (Naville,<br />

Todtenbuch, Bd. I., Bll. 134, 135), showing important variations in <strong>the</strong> text and in <strong>the</strong> order in which <strong>the</strong><br />

gods are addressed.<br />
