Pathologist on Wednesday 12/7/2000;<br />

Review of clinical records arranged with Dr Kyngdon for<br />

Wednesday 12/7/2000;<br />

Briefing papers prepared for MOH <strong>and</strong> Minister;<br />

Media releases prepared;<br />

Letters to patients prepared;<br />

Letters to GPs prepared;<br />

Reconciliation of lists <strong>and</strong> data reviewed;<br />

Confirmation of availability of appropriate technologist<br />

from CHL for review.<br />

12/07/2000 Attendance of urologist <strong>and</strong> pathologist as identified on<br />

11/7/00. The following actions result from a review that<br />

included Dr Kyngdon, of the information <strong>and</strong> clinical<br />

records of patients identified by the relevant data. The<br />

following matters were resolved by the clinicians:<br />

Strategy: The patients were divided into those that were<br />

considered to need individual review <strong>and</strong> those that did not,<br />

on the basis that clinically critical decisions are made at<br />

PSA levels
