Dichtung aus hoch temperaturbeständigem
Gewebe. „isoTherm HAT“ weist eine Temperaturbeständigkeit
bis 850 °C auf. Bei Verwendung
von zwei Lagen werden Unebenheiten
der Dichtflächen ausgeglichen, sodass ein
Vakuum erzeugt wird.
Für eine zuverlässige Abdichtung der Gießrinnen-Segmente
und Wehre sorgt die weiche
und anpassungsfähige Schlauchpackung aus
„isoTherm 800“. Die Standzeit konnte so laut
Frenzelit um den Faktor 15 verlängert und
die Instandhaltungskosten dadurch reduziert
werden.
Um die Wärmebestrahlung der Gießrinnen
zu reduzieren und gleichzeitig Energie einzusparen,
wird die Gießrinne mit Isolierkissen
abgedeckt. Aufgrund der geringeren Wärmeverluste
während des Gießprozesses kann
die Temperatur des Gießofens verringert
werden. Eine geringere Schmelztemperatur
wiederum reduziert die Krätzenbildung und
verbessert die Qualität des Aluminiums. ■

New contracts from the FRP industry
Fata Hunter was recently awarded a contract
from Poland to supply a 2 metre wide cold
rolling mill and a tension levelling line to Eurometal
SA in Stalowa Wola. The equipment
is to be installed at a greenfield plant located
on the new Kleszczów Industrial Park.
All the equipment for this new facility has
been selected on the basis of its advanced design
to make the facility one of the most modern,
efficient and environmentally friendly
aluminium rolling plants in Europe. The mill
features state-of-the-art controls that allow it
to roll a wide variety of products, from foil
stock to can body with tolerances that meet
or exceed quality standards of the world’s
leading producers. The tension levelling line
continues Fata’s leadership in design of this
type of equipment, which produces exceptional
quality strip while combining an innovative
cleaning section that minimises the use of
chemicals employed on conventional lines.
Fata Hunter and Eurometal have forward
plans for further expansion of the plant and
both companies look forward to building a
long-term partnership for the successful development
of this new enterprise.
Eurometal is a leading European supplier of
aluminium extrusions. The company is part of
the Eko-Świat Group – a major Polish producer
of extrusion billet, and primary and secondary
alloys, produced by continuous casting.
