Pressurised Irrigation Systems. 52. Attended Agri-Conclave-2009 on, “Bringing new techniques and ideas to the farmers”, at SKAUST, Jammu and presented a talk entitled, “Rainwater harvesting and use of drip and sprinkler irrigation, besides mulching”, to the farmers (Dec. 12, 2009). 53. Attended One-Day Workshop in Rishi-Krishi Techniques and use of Bio-fertilizers (Nov. 28, 2009) at Sacha Sauda Dera (Palampur) sponsored by Ayurved Vishawa Parishad. Delivered a talk on, “Enhancing water use efficiency”, through modern irrigation systems. Also shared experiences about use of VAM biofertilizers in crops”. 54. Delivered a talk entitled: integrated nutrients and water management in basmati rice production at the DEE on 29-07-2010. The occasion was the workshop on Quality Improvement of Basmati rice for export( sponsored by Basmati Export Development Foundation. 55.Attended the water productivity training arranged by KVK, Baraat village Baloha, Distt. Hamirpur. Delivered 2 lectures to the farmers numbering about 50.Lecture topics were: a) Pravatya kshetron mein jalagam pravandhankee visheshta (Hindi). b) kenchua khad bannne kee vidhi tatha is kee jal pravandhan mein upyogita tatha bhoomi kee jal graham kshmata badhne mein desi khad kaa yogdaan. 56-59. Delivered a total of 4 lectures in farmers” training courses on Soil and water Conservation held at the DEE, HPKV, Palampur during Feb-Mar 2011. The lectures were delivered on the topic—Role of biofertilizers in soil & water conservation. The lectures were given on 17-2-011, 19-2-011,, 27-2-011 and 3-3-011. 57-58. Delivered the following 2 lectures (!9-2-011) at the Seven Day training Camp on enhancing water productivity organized bt KVK, Kangra at kangra. : A) Khadyan phaslon mein jal pravandhan B) Dalhani aur tilhani phaslon mein jal pravandh 59. Attended the Tilhan Divas organized by the Oilseed Research Centre, HPKV, Kangra at Kangra on march 03, 2011. Gave a lalk on Soil sampling to the farmers. 60. Recorded a talk on the cultivation of corn and rice for local TV network DARPAN on 9=6=011.The same was telecast on 10-6-011. 62.
