2009) at Barog (Solan) and presented the following paper : ‘Soil and Water
Conservation Measures in Relation to Changing Climate’ under Tech. Session-IV
on Soil Health and Environmental Issues.
43. Attended the Seminar on, “Issues related to Groundwater Management and Water Use
Efficiency in the state of H.P.” (Mar. 18, 2009) at Shimla. It was organized by Central
Groundwater Board and Central Groundwater Authority. Presented on invited paper
entitled “Polylined tank technology for rain water harvesting in Himachal Pradesh.
44. Attended Ist Indian Agricultural Scientists’ Farmers” Congress on Technological Innovations
for Enhancing Agril. Production (CCS Univ., Meerut, Oct. 03-04, 2009) and presented an
invited paper entitled – “Role of Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae (VAM) in meeting
phosphorus needs of important crops and cropping systems”.
45. Attended the Biennial Workshop of All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Water
Management at Navsari Agril. Univ., Nausari (GJ) (Sept. 14-16, 2009). Presented HPKV
Palampur Centre’s Progress Report (2008-09) and technical plan of work for 2009-10.
Also chaired a Tech. Session.
