In addition to above
1. Demonstrated chemical control of the menace weed Lantana camara in the farm/orchard of Raja
Chain Singh at Amb (Una) in 1988. This was carried out by the spray of Glyphosate on
regenerated lantana growth.
2. During the dry season of 1993-94, a demonstration with wheat (cv. S-308) was laid out at the
University Experimental Farm at Akrot (Una). The theme was the, 'Performance of Mixed
Fertilizers (NPK) versus Straight Fertilizers.
3. A long-term demonstration on, 'Prescription based Fertilizer Use in Maize-Wheat Cropping
System,” was laid out at the University Farm every season. It was started in 1996. It was
concluded in 2003
