Title of the project was, ”Studies on vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizae (VAM) in meeting phosphorus needs of important rainfed cropping systems in mountain soils of Himachal Pradesh”. Its budget was 17 lacs. Dr. Suri competed at the national level and was one of the few scientists whose projects were approved on competitive grant basis. 5. Served as Principal Investigator (PI) of All India Coordinated Research Project on Water Management for High Rainfall Areas (ICAR) Palampur Centre (2 years almost). 7. Served as Nodal Officer-cum-Principal Investigator of All India Project on Water Productivity (1.2 years). Title : “Scaling up of water productivity in agriculture for livelihoods through teaching cum demonstration, training of trainers and farmers (ICAR)”. 8. Served as the Team Leader of the development project : Preparation of Detailed Project Report for watershed Kangra-3 under the Integrated Water Management Programme (2010-2011). 8.
