Processing, Value Addition and Marketing of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants at CSAUAT,
Kanpur as Chief Guest.
40. Attended National Seminar on sustaining soil Health for Higher Crop Productivity at U.P.
Council of Agril. Research, Lucknow (Oct. 30-31, 2007) : Chaired the Technical Session-I.
41. Attended Brain Storming Workshop (June 18-19, 2008) organized to decide/review
mandate for various departments under agril. faculty, identify priority thrust areas for
teaching, research and extension and formulate proposals for best utilization of scientific
manpower.
42. Attended the Earth Day Celebration Function at the CSAUAT, Kanpur on April 25, 2008,
Chaired the inaugural ceremony.
43. Attended the National Symposium on Technological Innovations for Resource Starved
Farmers in Global Perspective (April 28-30, 2008), CSAUT, Kanpur. Chaired the inaugural
and closing functions.
44. Attended National Symposium on, “National Symposium on Integrated Farming Systems
and its role towards Livelihood Improvement” (Oct. 26-28, 2007) at Agril. Experiment
Staion, Rajasthan Agril. University, Durgapura and presented a lead paper entitled,
“Ensuring livelihood security of low resource poor farmers of Uttar Pradesh through
appropriate technology interventions. Also chaired Tech. Session-II.
45. Attended National Symposium on, “Legumes for Ecological Sustainability : Emerging
Challenges and Opportunities” (Nov. 3-5, 2007) held at the IIPR, Kanpur. Chaired the
valedictory session, helped finalize the recommendations and shared views through
concluding remarks.

48. Attended 41 st Engineers Day Celebration (Aug 15, 2008) conducted by Institution of
Engineers at the I.I.T. Kanpur.
