: Emerging Challenges and Opportunities”, field at the I.I.P.R., Kanpur
(Nov. 3-5, 2007). Chaired the Valedictory Function and helped finalise
recommendations also shared views by way of concluding speech.
11. Attended the IAUA All-India Vice-Chancellors’ Meet and 5th National
Symposium, "Environmental Pollution and its Effect on Agril. Production
and Human Health at Agril. Research Instt. Deemed University, Allahabad
(Sept. 25-26, 2008) and presented a key note paper. Chaired one Tech.
session and co-chaired another. Also presented views as a panelist.
12. Attended the AIU North Zone Vice-Chancellors' Meet at Gobind Vallav
Bhai Pant Univ. of Agri. And Technology, Pantnagar (Sept., 1-3, 2008).
Chaired the Technical Session on, " Distance Education," Also chaired the
Plenary Session.
13. Chaired the Technical Session–II (Oct. 17, 2008) of the TSI-FAI Regional
Workshop on " Promotion of Sulphur Fertilizer use in Indian Agriculture”
at Lucknow and also made Presidential remarks.
14. Attended the Workshop on, "Building Capacity for Students’ Centered Learning
organized under Indo-US Knowledge Initiative Prog. (ICAR) at CSAUAT, Kanpur
(Aug. 21-22, 2008). Served as Chief Guest at Inaugural Ceremony and delivered
key note address. Also chaired the Tech. Session on Aug. 21, 2008.
15. University’s Farm balance sheets were never prepared at the CSAUAT,
Kanpur before. As the VC of the university, got balance sheets of all farms
(40 no.) prepared (Aug. 2007) and sent these to the Govt. This is a
landmark achievement.
