COURSE SYNOPSIS
On completion of the course, students should be able to
• Install, inspect and service pneumatic/electro-pneumatic and
hydraulic/electro-hydraulic control systems.
• Assemble and align mechanical components.
• Inspect and maintain simple process control systems.
• Install and test electrical systems and motor control systems.
• Install and download PLC programs.
• Test-run an industrial robot with written program.
• Integrate automated-controlled systems with peripherals such
as vision systems, etc.
• Troubleshoot faults in production lines or stations.
• Carry out good manufacturing practices and controls, proper
documentation practices and validation procedures.
