COURSE SYNOPSIS<br />
On completion <strong>of</strong> the course, students should be able to<br />
• Create multi-axis part program for Multi-axis Mach<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g Centre<br />
and Mill<strong>in</strong>g Mach<strong>in</strong>e (HSM) us<strong>in</strong>g CAD/CAM system<br />
• Set up and operate Multi-axis Mach<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g Centre and CNC High<br />
Speed Mill<strong>in</strong>g Mach<strong>in</strong>e.<br />
• Manufacture medical components such as dental implants,<br />
bone screws orthopaedic devices.<br />
• Assemble <strong>in</strong>jection mould.<br />
• Perform mould sett<strong>in</strong>g and test<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
• Develop mould design us<strong>in</strong>g CAD/CAM system.<br />
• Perform quality checks.<br />
• Perform preventive ma<strong>in</strong>tenance.<br />
