Less than 50 volts to ground<br />

If de-energized, all <strong>Lockout</strong>/<strong>Tagout</strong> procedures<br />

apply<br />

Employer Responsibilities<br />

Safety related work practices to prevent<br />

electrical shock<br />

A written maintained copy <strong>of</strong> the procedures<br />

outlined in paragraph (b)(2) - <strong>Lockout</strong> and<br />

tagging written program<br />

Proper equipment for working around or near<br />

energized parts:<br />

Portable ladders, non-conductive siderails<br />

Employer Responsibilities<br />

(continued)<br />

Method to prevent any conductive materials or<br />

equipment from making contact with live<br />

electrical<br />

Method <strong>of</strong> making conductive apparel, such as<br />

jewelry, non-conductive<br />

Clothing such as wool, cotton or better<br />

Cleaning materials such as steel wool and<br />

conductive liquids from coming into contact<br />

with live electrical<br />
