Grading Scale Note and Clarification<br />
<strong>Purdue</strong> <strong>University</strong> <strong>Calumet</strong> uses a 4.0 grading scale. Students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business, Bachelor of Science in Accounting or a Bachelor of Science in<br />
Management must successfully complete the Pre-Business or Pre-Management core by earning a grade designated by a 2.0 or higher in each course. The Pre-Business or<br />
Pre-Management Core courses must be taken in the first three semesters. Each course must be successfully completed before the student takes any of the courses in their<br />
major. The sixcourses that fulfill the student’s major must be successfully completed by earning a grade designated by a 2.0 or higher in each course.<br />
Experiential Learning Courses<br />
The following classes have been awarded Experiential Learning designation by the Faculty Senate and may be used to fulfill a student’s experiential learning requirements.<br />

Admission standards for new freshmen:<br />

Direct Acceptance to the Program of Study:<br />
· Test Scores (SAT CR+M): 900 (1350)<br />
· 5 subject area GPA 2.50<br />
Preparatory Admissions (DMG):<br />
· Test Scores (SAT CR+M): 850-899<br />
· 5 subject area GPA of at least 2.20<br />
Center for Student Achievement:<br />
· Test Scores (SAT CR+M): 800-849<br />
· 5 subject area GPA of at least 2.00<br />
GPA Requirement to transfer, re-enter, re-admission, and CODO to the School of Management<br />
