What is monitor<strong>in</strong>g?<br />
Monitor<strong>in</strong>g means the process of cont<strong>in</strong>uous observation and collection of data on<br />
immunization programs, <strong>in</strong> order to ensure that it is progress<strong>in</strong>g as planned. It<br />
<strong>in</strong>volves the rout<strong>in</strong>e analysis, presentation and use of selected data <strong>for</strong> decisionmak<strong>in</strong>g<br />
and advocacy. Through monitor<strong>in</strong>g you can assess how well you are<br />
do<strong>in</strong>g and what improvements you should make.<br />
