I on behalf of the Board of Directors have<br />
great pleasure in presenting to you the 55th<br />
Annual Report of your Company along with the<br />
Audited Accounts for the year ended 31st March,<br />
20<strong>11</strong>. The Audited Statements of Accounts, report<br />
of the Statutory Auditors and Management’s reply<br />
thereon as well as comments of the Comptroller<br />
& Auditor General of India on the audited Accounts<br />
are annexed to this report.<br />
Washeries for washing / beneficiation of Non-<br />
Coking Coal.<br />
The Washeries have contributed 483.63<br />
Crore towards overall profit during the year<br />
<strong>2010</strong>-<strong>11</strong> compared to 400.32 Crore in 2009-10,<br />
registering a positive growth of 20.81%.<br />
COKING COAL WASHERIES<br />
Washed Coking Coal production during<br />
<strong>2010</strong>-<strong>11</strong> has been 14.528 lakh tonne against<br />
13.92215 lakh tonne during 2009-10, registering<br />
a positive growth of 4.37%.<br />
