• Viabilities – Record the viability for Pacific<br />

halibut ONLY. Refer to Appendices K, L and M<br />

for viability criteria.<br />

D = Dead<br />

P = Poor<br />

E = Excellent<br />

Hook and Line Gear<br />

D = Dead<br />

S = Severe<br />

MO = Moderate<br />

MI = Minor<br />

• Length – Record the length of the individual fish<br />

in centimeters.<br />

• Weight – Record the weight of the individual fish.<br />

Do not use extrapolated or halibut conversion<br />

weights.<br />
