towns and villages where there is no other witness
for Christ. A gospel auto was given to the conference
by one of the Annamese Christians at Cantho,
and the native leaders have been authorized by the
Governor of the States to use it in villages and
markets that are off the waterways and outside of
the communities served by the different preaching
chapels.
In 1930 the conference received a new vision and
undertook a new task. Work had been begun by the
Mission among the jungle Mois, wild tribes who
inhabit the mountains and jungles of French Indo¬
China. One of the Annamese pastors felt the urge
of the Spirit to go as a missionary to these people.
The conference undertook to support him and his
family in this ministry and later took on the support
of a second missionary couple to another of these
tribes. Thus the Annamese National Church is now
supporting two Annamese missionary couples. The
Lord has signally blessed this work, and there is
now a congregation of regenerated wild men in each
of these jungle stations.
