villages, Ban Bawai and Ban Nong Sang respectively.<br />

A third chapel is under construction at Ban Koke |<br />
Gnam and a fourth at Ban Kwee Gawk, and there<br />

are a dozen or more other villages where groups of<br />

believers expect soon to build a place of worship<br />
j<br />
for themselves. These groups gather each Sunday<br />
morning for Bible reading and prayer. We are at<br />
the present time handicapped by lack of trained<br />
J<br />
workers. The establishment of a Bible School at ' j<br />
Korat will help to meet this need in the future. But }<br />
in the meantime, periodic visits from the mission- \<br />
aries must suffice. The visits are made by oxcart and<br />
horse since there are no motor roads." \<br />
Many sick have been healed in answer to prayer. \<br />
A young man who had followed the missionaries<br />

from village to village on one of their itineraries \<br />
was suddenly possessed by an evil spirit and became 1'<br />
a veritable tiger. Biting, clawing, pummeling, kick- t;<br />
ing, frothing at the mouth, and throwing himself<br />

to the ground with terrific force, were just a few<br />

of the things that he was caused to do. The mission¬<br />
ary tried to speak to him, and he tried to answer, (<br />
but could not for he was dumb. A big crowd gath-<br />

ered and, in view of this and of the mighty power<br />
of Christ of which the missionary had spoken earlier ;<br />
in the evening, prayer was made in his behalf. When<br />
