A third chapel is under construction at Ban Koke |
Gnam and a fourth at Ban Kwee Gawk, and there

are a dozen or more other villages where groups of

believers expect soon to build a place of worship

for themselves. These groups gather each Sunday
morning for Bible reading and prayer. We are at
the present time handicapped by lack of trained
J
workers. The establishment of a Bible School at ' j
Korat will help to meet this need in the future. But }
in the meantime, periodic visits from the mission- \
aries must suffice. The visits are made by oxcart and
horse since there are no motor roads." \
Many sick have been healed in answer to prayer. \
A young man who had followed the missionaries
I
from village to village on one of their itineraries \
was suddenly possessed by an evil spirit and became 1'
a veritable tiger. Biting, clawing, pummeling, kick- t;
ing, frothing at the mouth, and throwing himself
j
to the ground with terrific force, were just a few
J
of the things that he was caused to do. The mission¬
ary tried to speak to him, and he tried to answer, (
but could not for he was dumb. A big crowd gath-
j
ered and, in view of this and of the mighty power
of Christ of which the missionary had spoken earlier ;
in the evening, prayer was made in his behalf. When
