90 The <strong>Kabbalah</strong> <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> <strong>Golden</strong> <strong>Dawn</strong><br />
This is expounded upon in <strong>the</strong> system <strong>of</strong> Isaac Luria and Chaim Vital. 8l<br />
The Zohar states: 82<br />
If all dead bodies are risen from <strong>the</strong> dust, what will<br />
become to <strong>the</strong> bodies that have shared <strong>the</strong> same soul?<br />
Rabbi Jose tells us that <strong>the</strong>se do not count and it is <strong>the</strong> last body<br />
that one has shared that will rise again at resurrection. The entire concept<br />
relates to <strong>the</strong> Biblical book <strong>of</strong> Genesis, where it is said that something<br />
is created in physical form <strong>the</strong>n returned to God on <strong>the</strong> final day.<br />
Of <strong>the</strong> actual creation itself, <strong>the</strong> Zohar says:83<br />
As <strong>the</strong> body is made in this world from <strong>the</strong> combination <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> four elements, <strong>the</strong> spirit (soul) is made in <strong>the</strong> Garden<br />
84 from a combination <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> four winds that are <strong>the</strong>re<br />
and <strong>the</strong> spirit in <strong>the</strong>m shaped in <strong>the</strong> shape <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> body.<br />
This tells us that when <strong>the</strong> soul is first fashioned it is in empathy<br />
with <strong>the</strong> body. The effect <strong>of</strong> its shaping in <strong>the</strong> Garden through <strong>the</strong> four<br />
winds is analogous to <strong>the</strong> four elements on earth. In fact, one could<br />
assume that <strong>the</strong> soul is reshaped in <strong>the</strong> Garden before any re-entry into<br />
man or woman. The Zahar says:85<br />
Blessed are <strong>the</strong> just, whose NShMThHVN, souls are<br />
drawn from that Holy Body which is called Adam, which<br />
includeth all things; <strong>the</strong> place, as it were, wherein all <strong>the</strong><br />
Crowns and Holy Diadems are associated toge<strong>the</strong>r,<br />
arrayed in equilibrium and balance.<br />
This concept shows that all souls were created toge<strong>the</strong>r, even<br />
though <strong>the</strong> vast majority took <strong>the</strong>ir time before entry into mankind.<br />
On <strong>the</strong> question <strong>of</strong> polarity <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Soul, with <strong>the</strong> continual reference<br />
to <strong>the</strong> male Adam, <strong>the</strong> Zahar says:<br />
