The Kaballah <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> <strong>Golden</strong> <strong>Dawn</strong><br />

The part or volume number references to <strong>the</strong> Zahar, as given in <strong>the</strong><br />

footnotes <strong>of</strong> this book, are modified from <strong>the</strong> traditional volumes to fall<br />

in line with <strong>the</strong> five-volume set <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Soncino edition, which is <strong>the</strong><br />

more accessible <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> English translations. I also noted that in <strong>the</strong> Soncino<br />

edition, <strong>the</strong> emphasis on <strong>the</strong> Holy Hebrew Names <strong>of</strong> God and <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

variations are surprisingly ignored, where <strong>the</strong> Nurho de Manhar singlevolume<br />

edition has <strong>the</strong>se included, as well as some folios left out by <strong>the</strong><br />

Soncino edition. The English translations <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Zohar to date leave a lot<br />

to be desired.<br />

Included in <strong>the</strong> section I have called "Sphere <strong>of</strong> Sensation," is a<br />

breakdown <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> functions <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Kabbalistic Soul as applied to subtle<br />

body anatomy, or <strong>the</strong> aura, as it is commonly called today. This section <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> book covers some <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> teachings from <strong>the</strong> 6=5 and 7=4 Grades <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> Thoth Hermes Temple, in New Zealand. In this section <strong>the</strong>re is a discussion<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> sexual teachings <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> aura and its effect on <strong>the</strong> chakras<br />

and auric bodies. The <strong>the</strong>ory was first outlined to me by Jack Taylor, in a<br />

ra<strong>the</strong>r general way, and I have taken <strong>the</strong> liberty <strong>of</strong> expanding ir a great<br />

deal, with a more technical viewpoint.<br />

On a final note, <strong>the</strong> reader may observe that one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> sections I<br />

have not covered in this work is that <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tarot with regard to <strong>the</strong> <strong>Kabbalah</strong>.<br />

This is a work in itself and will be presented in a subsequent volume<br />

called The Magical Tarot <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Golden</strong> <strong>Dawn</strong>. The Kabbalistic<br />

teachings <strong>of</strong> Enochian Chess will also be presented in a separate volume<br />

by Chris <strong>Zalewski</strong> (soon to be published).<br />
