The Department of Business educates undergraduates in an environment stressing a Christian
worldview for careers in profit and nonprofit organizations. Integrating Christian principles into
all our endeavors, the Department stresses professional business education through teaching
excellence, quality programs, and relevant business and internship experiences emphasizing
service to our community. These programs are designed to provide the student with both a
strong education core and a broad-based business curriculum. Victory graduates receive a
broad liberal arts foundation with a solid business education.
Students may earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (BSBA) with a
specialization in Management, Marketing, or Finance totaling 120 semester hours or a Bachelor
of Science degree in Organization Management (BSOM) (no specialization required) totaling
120 semester hours.
Students must earn a grade of “C” (2.00) or higher in all Business major, specialization, and/or
minor courses for successful completion.

120 SEMESTER HOURS
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree combines a strong general
education core with a broad based business curriculum with a quantitative emphasis to
emphasize both the liberal arts and professional business education. To further enhance their
education and preparation for professional careers, students are strongly encouraged to
complete a minor, take at least six hours of a foreign language and/or participate in study
abroad programs and University mission trips.
Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program, students will:
• Apply the fundamentals of financial and managerial accounting;
• Integrate financial principles into the firm’s management process;
• Evaluate the performance of firms and the economy using economic theory;
• Understand the international interdependencies of the US economy;
• Articulate management principles and leadership theory;
• Organize statistics to assist in decision-making;
• Describe basic marketing principles;
• Appreciate key aspects of business law to promote legal awareness.
