Victory University 2012-2013 Academic Catalog

Admissions to be evaluated by Victory University. The Caribbean Examinations Council
(CXC) introduced a six-point grading scheme for the Caribbean Secondary Education
Certificate (CSEC). The overall grade required for admission into Victory University is a
level III (C) in at least five of the areas listed below:
Required Categories:
a. English Languages
b. “Additional” Mathematics
c. Science (Choose at least one of the following)
i. Biology
ii. Human & Social Biology
iii. Chemistry
iv. Agricultural Science
Additional Categories:
Any TWO (2) additional categories as listed by the CXC.
Official transcripts should be mailed directly to the Office of Admissions at 255 N. Highland, Memphis, TN
38111. All international transcripts must be ordered by the student at the student’s
expense.
3. Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV): Students should submit their most recent resume or
CV which includes work experiences, community service as well as curriculum and
extracurricular achievements.
4. 200 - 300 Word Personal Statement: Students will need to submit a personal statement
containing a minimum of 200 words which addresses the following subject area:
How will receiving a degree from Victory University enable me to attain my professional
or community goals?
POST BACCALAUREATE ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Any student who has graduated from an accredited institution is welcome to apply for
admission to Victory University and must submit the following in order to be reviewed for
acceptance to Victory University.
