Introduces students to crime understood as a form of deviance. Theories of deviance, social
control, crime, and criminality are used to examine both the nature of crime and the patterns

Examines the dynamics of the five major components of the Criminal Justice
Administration major with emphases on the sociology of criminal justice and on ethical
