SPA313 Spanish Conversation/Grammar credits: 3<br />
Provides a review and expansion on more complex aspects of Spanish grammar and structure<br />
developing all four language skills. A strong emphasis is placed on increasing proficiency<br />
and skill in oral expression. In addition to grammatical exercises, discussions on topics of<br />
contemporary interest are designed to ensure the course is taught in a functional and relevant<br />

This course examines the great periods of Spanish art with its characteristic aesthetics, great<br />
masters, and principal architectural, sculptural and pictorial works. Special attention is<br />

This course covers, in chronological order, the periods of the history of Spain from its origins<br />
up until and including the 18th century. It analyzes the aspects of each period that<br />
have contributed to the formation of Spain as a people and as a state. It connects the history<br />
of Spain with that of the Mediterranean Sea and of Europe, offering a general overview<br />

This course provides an ample view of the current economic and political importance of the<br />
15 countries (including Spain) that form part of the European Union. The institutions and<br />

The principle objective of this course is to learn how to observe paintings from an artistic<br />
