DEGREE REQUIREMENTS<br />
General Degree Requirements: Traditional Programs<br />
1. The student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0000 for all<br />
graded courses and for the courses in any major, minor, or program. Some<br />
majors/minors/programs require a higher grade point average.<br />
2. Courses that are not considered to be college level (normally courses numbered below<br />
100) will not be counted toward a degree.<br />
3. If no credit hours have been added to the student’s <strong>Concordia</strong> transcript for two or<br />
more calendar years, the student must apply (through the Office of Admission) for readmission<br />
and meet the requirements in effect at the time of readmission.<br />
4. The student must provide the Registrar with an official transcript showing high school<br />
graduation (or an official copy of GED scores) sent directly from the high school (or<br />
testing center) to <strong>Concordia</strong> and official transcripts sent directly from any other regionally<br />
accredited colleges or universities attended by the student to <strong>Concordia</strong>.<br />
5. An application for commencement/diploma must be filed with the Registrar in a timely<br />
manner.<br />
6. The student must fulfill all financial obligations to the <strong>University</strong>.<br />
General Studies Requirements for Traditional Students<br />
The curriculum required of all B.A. students (except for the Accelerated Degree Program) is<br />
summarized in broad outline as follows:<br />

*Student may complete proficiency requirements by exam or by course work. In some cases, proficiency<br />

**Any mathematics course must be more advanced than Intermediate Algebra and requires a grade of<br />
C- (1.6667) or better.<br />
