Students participate in a college-sponsored, faculty directed production on one or more of
the following technical crews: set construction, properties, lighting, assistant director, stage
manager, make-up, costumes or special effects.
THE212 Stagecraft credits: 3
The study of the theatre and its components. The course will introduce stage design, costume
construction and lighting techniques. Participation in productions. Local presentations
will be studied.
THE215 Play Production credits: 3
This course will serve as an introduction to the varied skills necessary to the successful production
of a play. It will include a study of the processes of analyzing, directing, staging,
and promoting plays.
