NOTIFY YOUR PHYSICIAN AT ONCE.
The nature of the wound is no indication of
the possibiHty of exposure to Rabies. Many
cases of Rabies develop from a slight scratch
on the skin.
DO NOT KILL THE DOG. Secure it, if
possible, and lock it up for observation. A rabid
animal may not show any immediate symptoms.
3. DON'T TAKE CHANCES. If your doctor advises protective
treatment with Rabies Vaccine, have it started at once. If the
dog is proven not to have rabies, no harm will have been done. If
the dog has rabies, the life of the child will have been saved.
